But my sensitive skin friends, we no longer have to suffer.

How I Picked the Best Bras for Sensitive Skin
I used these while curating this list, but you should check it out for what you should look for in your own search.
- Price: I wanted bras that were, across the line, fairly affordable. While some on this list are pricier than others, you won’t find any crazy expensive bras on here.
- Fabric and Materials: Fabric is one of the leading causes of skin irritation from bras, so I made sure to look for natural, breathable, skin-friendly fabrics. Natural fibers like 100% cotton, bamboo, and silk are hypoallergenic, as is latex-free elastic in the design. Modal fabric is another ultra-soft option.
- Skin-friendly Design and Fit: When it comes to sensitive skin, the less extra stuff, the better. I looked for tagless designs with fewer (or no) seams to eliminate any sensory nightmares. Thinner wire or wire-free designs are less likely to cause irritating rubbing or digging, so I checked for those, too.
- Variety of Sizes & Styles: People (and boobs) come in all sizes and shapes, and all of them deserve an irritation-free bra. I chose brands with a wide range of sizes and a variety of designs (underwire, bralettes, sports bras, wireless, etc.) so that everyone could find the right bra for their needs.
- Reviews: Bras can make any crazy claims they want, but only real bra-wearers know which ones deliver. I looked at reviews across sites and, as always, consulted Reddit for people sharing their firsthand experiences with each of these bras.
Best Overall: Organic Cloud Cotton Wireless Bra from ThirdLove
Taking the top spot is the Organic Cloud Cotton Wireless Bra from ThirdLove.

This bra has everything someone with sensitive skin could possibly want. It’s made from organic, super-soft cotton, features a tagless design, and the best part: it’s wire-free.
Unlike most brands that offer sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, etc, ThirdLove offers Precise Sizing for bra-wearers who are in-between sizes or have a smaller ribcage but larger bust (for instance, a MD+ for busts 32E or 34E and MD++ for 32H, 34F, and 34G). I love this because I have a small band size with a larger bust, so I don’t have to compromise on support to get a bra that doesn’t offer more compression than I want.
This one has other cool features like built-in lightweight foam cups, full coverage, and adjustable straps that convert to an X-back so you can wear it under any shirt.
It comes in sizes XS (30C) to XL++ (36H/38F/38G) with multiple sizes in between, is available in 2 colors, and costs $68.
Best for Large Busts: Evelyn Bobbie Beyond Bra
One bra that the larger-bust Reddit community can’t stop talking about is the Evelyn Bobbie Beyond Bra.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, “I thought you said cotton and natural fibers were best, this one is made from synthetic fibers!” But listen. If you saw the dozens of comments from large-chested babes talking about how this didn’t upset their sensory issues, you would put it on this list, too.
The Beyond Bra features a seamless, tagless design that’s wire-free but still offers solid support for large busts. It’s non-toxic, moisture-wicking, and free from BPA, nickel, latex, and copper, making it a buttery soft option that doesn’t dig or cause irritation. Some reviewers say it’s so comfortable, they’ve fallen asleep in it without realizing.
It comes in 6 skin tones and 3 special edition colors, is available in sizes small to 3XL, and retails for $98.
Best for Small Busts: Supima® Cotton Wirefree Bra from Pepper
For smaller busts, nobody offers a better-tailored option than Pepper. The Supima® Cotton Wirefree Bra from Pepper is the best option if you have a small bust (cup sizes AA to B) and sensitive skin.

Made from Supima cotton (“a premium, natural fiber grown only in the U.S, sourced from the top 1% of the world’s supply,” according to their website), this bra is ultra-breathable, blended with other hypoallergenic, crazy soft fibers including modal and lycra.
It’s designed to celebrate your shape, with light, removable padding for a smoothing effect and nipple coverage. The straps are adjustable and convertible, so you can adjust to an X-back design whenever you need.
It comes in 9 different colors and sizes XXS to XL, fit for cup sizes 30A to 40B (remember, these sizes are all designed with smaller chests in mind!), and costs $55.
Best for Eczema: Remedywear™ (TENCEL + Zinc) Hypoallergenic Bra from The Eczema Company
If you have eczema, you’re in luck. The Remedywear™ (TENCEL + Zinc) Hypoallergenic Bra from The Eczema Company is designed specifically with your skin condition in mind.

This is, scientifically, the best bra for eczema. As the site itself says, “1,475 clinicians, including dermatologists, share this on FrontrowMD without compensation.” That’s pretty significant.
The allergy-free design is award-winning thanks to premium TENCEL material and zinc oxide. TENCEL is a natural fiber that’s soft on the skin, just like 100% organic cotton, but unlike cotton, it’s moisture-wicking and antibacterial. The addition of zinc oxide provides additional skin-soothing and antibacterial properties.
It’s free from allergens like latex, nickel, and irritating synthetic fabrics like nylon that can cause flare-ups. It offers light support with no wires or metal.
It comes in black and white, with sizes ranging from XS to XL, and costs $49.99.
Best Underwire: SKIMS Cotton Jersey T-Shirt Bra
If you just can’t skip the underwire, the SKIMS Cotton Jersey T-Shirt Bra is your girl.

Cotton jersey is a super breathable, stretchy, soft fabric that has the feel of your favorite t-shirt. Because it’s cotton, it’s unlikely to cause irritation or allergic reactions. But the skin-friendly design is what sets this bra apart, featuring a smaller design that doesn’t dig in or rub your skin.
Some other helpful design features include fully adjustable straps and lined mesh for a little extra support.
It comes in three colors, offers band sizes 30 to 46, and cup sizes A to H, and costs $38. Reviews say this particular design runs small, so consider sizing up.
Best Sports Bra: Tomboy Full Spectrum Bra
Now hear me out, I know we agree that natural fabrics are best, but sports bras are an exception because they have a specific job to do. With this in mind, the best sports bra for sensitive skin is the Tomboy Full Spectrum Bra. While it is made from a breathable nylon-spandex blend, it’s OEKO-TEX® certified, so it’s produced without harmful chemicals.

What stands out about this bra is the lower armholes with thinner straps, designed to prevent chaffing and rubbing as well as digging. The compressive mesh is ultra-breathable for less irritation and plenty of support, so everything stays in place instead of jostling around and causing more discomfort.
It’s also a more longline option compared to the rest of the bras on this list, so the band is lower, which helps avoid that itchy “underbood” effect that a higher band causes sometimes. The self-encased chestband and flatlocked seams reduce opportunities for digging.
This bra comes in black and a black abstract print, sizes XS to 6X, and costs $54. Reviewers say this one runs small, so consider sizing up unless you’re also looking for a binder alternative.
Best Bralette: Quince Organic Cotton Scoop Bralette
Last but certainly not least, we reach my favorite type of bra: the bralette. If you’re in the same boat, then the Quince Organic Cotton Scoop Bralette is for you, too.

Quince is a brand I see mentioned over and over again across the internet for their high-quality goods made from high-quality fabrics, and this sensitive-skin-friendly bralette is no exception to that rule.
It’s made from 95% organic cotton and 5% spandex and is certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, so you can already tell that this is a good pick for sensitive skin. It offers light support with stretchy double-layered fabric for a breathable feel.
The scoop neckline reduces where the bralette rubs against your skin, so it could be a good option if you get eczema or have extra sensitive skin between your breasts.
I scrolled through 10 pages of reviews and didn’t find a single one under 5 stars (I’m serious), and many proclaim that this is the favorite bra they own.
It comes in a 2-pack (yay!) with 9 different color combinations to choose from. Sizes are on the limited side, with offerings from XS to XL, and it costs $56.
Choosing the Best Bra for Your Sensitive Skin
At the end of the day, no two bodies are alike, and everyone with sensitive skin has different, well, sensitivities. If you want the best choice all-around at the right price made from organic cotton, look no further than the Organic Cloud Cotton Wireless Bra from ThirdLove.
If you’re “blessed” in the chest (I just made that up!), I say go for the Evelyn Bobbie Beyond Bra, while those with a smaller bust will love the Supima® Cotton Wirefree Bra from Pepper.
For eczema, the Remedywear™ (TENCEL + Zinc) Hypoallergenic Bra from The Eczema Company has science and doctors backing it. The best sports option or binder alternative is Tomboy Full Spectrum Bra, while the best light support choice for just chilling is the Quince Organic Cotton Scoop Bralette.
